Piano Tuning

We provide fine piano tuning, as well as pitch raise and fine tuning. We utilize both aural and electronic techniques to provide fine tunings.

A fine piano tuning is for any piano that is regularly tuned, and is within 15 cents of pitch (pitch is being defined here as A4 registering at 440hz). $180

A pitch raise/lower is for any piano more than 15 cents sharp/flat. A pitch alteration is required to create a more stable tuning for the piano. $270

Dust, hair, and debris built up under the keys.

Piano Cleaning

Dust can greatly affect the performance and sound of your piano. It is recommended to have your piano cleaned approximately once a year, especially if you regularly leave your keys uncovered, or your lid open. This can be scheduled at the same time as a piano tuning. We'll clean the inside of your piano, and polish the outside. Contact us with any questions about cleaning your piano. This will add an hour to your piano tuning time, and may be scheduled online.

A piano is an expensive item that should be scheduled on your insurance to make sure the full value is insured.

Appraisals

If you need to establish the condition or value of a piano, then you want a piano technician to thoroughly examine the piano and submit a detailed report. If you just purchased a piano, or had restoration work done on your piano, you will want to have an appraisal done in order to submit to your insurance company.

This service is a must if you are considering the purchase of a used piano An appraisal is recommended if you are selling your own piano, establishing value for insurance, or settling an estate.
